Horseback Riding Lessons:  Blue Moon Ranch offers  Western horseback riding lessons for all ages. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, there is a program suitable for you. Youth and adults involved in our riding programs gain skills in handling, riding, and caring for a horse. Lesson Prices

Public Trail and Arena Riding

Blue Moon Ranch is open for public riding. Our multitude of horses are gentle and ready to ride on 50 acres of ranch land or 1000's of acres of public lands. In addition, Blue Moon Ranch has an indoor and 3 outdoor riding arenas.

  • Children must be 6 years old
  • No double riding
  • Last on site trail ride leaves at 4:00 PM

Horse Show Play Days

Blue Moon Ranch hosts a HORSE SHOW/PLAY DAY the first Saturday of the month October - May with the exception of January (weather permitting).  

Free admission for spectators.  Great food, fun and friendly competition.

Bring your own horse (with Coggins report) or ride one of ours for $7/event, $40/all day.  Riding events are classed by age levels and everyone is welcome to enter.

Blue Moon 'Steak' Out Trail Ride

Enjoy a beautiful outdoor ride and relax with dinner at Lake Panosoffkee, or the location of your choice.  Blue Moon offers a special rate for groups which includes a one hour trail ride and dinner.  Choice of Mesa steak or chicken breast from the grill with ranch chips, wagon train beans, baked spuds, Texas toast, and cowgirl brownie.  To wash it all down your choice of tea, lemonade or water.



Looking for an adventure beyond just taking a trail ride?  We provide outfitter services too.  Outfitter services include professional guide, horse & tack, meals, tent.  

Central Florida has some of the best equestrian trails and camping sites in the east.  Ride in old Oak Hammock forests, along lakes and streams and experience wildlife along the way.

Costs vary for trips and are based on location, distance and number of days on the trail. Call us for details and help planning your next equestrian outdoor adventure.

Home of the 4H Arena Wranglers

The ranch is proud to host a 4H equestrian program for youth ages 8-18.  Cowboys and cowgirls wanting to work on projects involving horses are provided support and opportunities from certified and caring adults.

Lessons (private)   $50/hr
Lessons (Group 4H Members)   $30
Lessons (Group non-4H Member)/$40/hour--24 hour advance reservation
Beginner adult group lessons are Wednesday mornings and intermediate adult group lessons are on Thursday mornings from 10:30 a.m. - noon.

Onsite Trail Ride:  $50/hr. 
Offsite Trail Ride: $65/90 min.--requires 36 hour advance reservation
All day trail ride $85/horse, lunch provided an additional $7--48 hour advance reservation

Steak Out Dinner and Ride (min. 4 riders)   $50/person if doing trail ride and $20 for steak dinner--total $70
Steak Out Dinner only non-riding:  $20/person
